295-253 digital outside micrometer that has spherical faces and in very good condition. It has been used so you will find a few minor cosmetic imperfections but nothing that will hinder its usefulness. The thimble moves easily without any hesitations. The friction thimble, digital readout, and lock work perfectly, just as designed.
As demonstrated by the Starrett standard in the last photo, this micrometer is very accurate. (standard not included) The plastic protective case has done a very good job of protecting this micrometer. It has some scratches, scuffs, and has gotten a little dirty from doing its job. It open easily, snaps shut and will continue to protect this tool for many years to come. This Japanese made micrometer is ready to go to work immediately and would make a great addition to any precision toolbox.
