You will find a few very minor cosmetic imperfections but nothing that will hinder its usefulness. It has a measurement range of. 000" to 1.000" and a resolution of. The thimble and digital numbers spins easily without any hesitations.
The lock and friction thimble works great, just as designed. The carbide faces look as if they were mirrors. You can see this in the reflection of the dollar bill. Everything will work perfectly for you! This micrometer is very accurate. This is demonstrated by the Starrett standard. This standard and dollar are not included. The plastic protective case has done a very good job of protecting this micrometer. Unfortunately, I had to super glue part of it. I point this spot out in the last photo. Please don't let this detract from what is otherwise a very nice used micrometer.The case opens and closes easily, latches shut, and holds everything securely. It will continue to protect your micrometer for many years to come.
Also included is a small wrench for making minor adjustments. Please take a look at all of the photographs as they can help describe the condition of this disk micrometer much better than I can. This Japanese made tool is ready to go to work immediately and would make a great addition to any precision toolbox.
