There was no battery in this item when I received it. I put a battery in it and tested it for the pictures.

The battery was removed after I took pictures of this item. This was done to prevent any issues or leaking while in storage.

For idea of scale; the "Squares" on mat in picture are 1/2" x 1/2" (although may be distorted slightly depending on angle picture was taken from).
