There is a current calibration sticker on the item. I do not have any further information. There was no battery in this item when I received it. I put a battery in it and tested it for the pictures. The battery was removed after I took pictures of this item.

This was done to prevent any issues or leaking while in storage. This item will need a battery before the electronic portion can be used. This uses a very common " button cell" battery.
