Mitutoyo 0-1 inch Spherical Anvil Outside Micrometer SEALED (0.0001, 295-253)

Mitutoyo 0-1 inch Spherical Anvil Outside Micrometer w/Digit Counter SEALED (0.0001 Resolution, model 295-253). Micrometer is new old stock, still sealed in plastic packaging from Mitutoyo, and appears to be in brand new condition. The spindle moves, the digit counter works, and the ratchet and travel lock/clamp work. No further testing has been done on it, since it's still wrapped, but I can open and test if you'd like. Paperwork is in great shape, and the spanner wrench is missing from the set. The hard plastic case has some dirt, scratches and scuffs on it, and also doesn't seal tightly - but this may be because of the plastic wrap around the micrometer. See photos for cosmetic detail.

Anvils are spherical faced/ball anvils on both stationary and spindle sides. Resolution of the digit counter is 0.001 inch, but you can read tenths on the vernier sleeve, so the overall resolution is 0.0001 inch.

If you'd like, I can open the packaging and make sure the micrometer is cleaned/oiled and moving smoothly. I can also check the accuracy with calibrated gage blocks so you should be good to measure right out of the box.
