The Mitutoyo IP65 rated coolant-proof micrometer's ratchet stop thimble mechanism provides a constant measuring force on the spindle to ensure accurate, repeatable measurements. The combination of the ratchet thimble and speeder enables a rapid spindle feed when measuring widely different dimensions, as well as, easier one-handed measurements. Measurement data output is available with a water-resistant connection cable.

Frame is coated with an anti-slip finish for improved grip during use. Twice as long battery life than previous models improves throughput and efficiency. Auto power ON/OFF function saves battery life and allows for easier use. Includes a standard bar except for the 0-1/0-25mm model. Some models include a Mitutoyo Certificate of Inspection. Supplied in a plastic, fitted case. IP65 protection permits use in environments exposed to cutting oil, dust, etc. It is not the type used to obtain calibration certificates. Anti-corrosion treatment is required after use.
