Here is a Mitutoyo 1 digital display sheet metal micrometer No. 189-129 with carbide faces that is in very nice condition.

This micrometer has been used?? If so it was by someone who took very good care of it. The thimble moves very easily and smoothly, no hesitations.

The ratchet and digital display work perfectly just as designed. This micrometer can make measurements approximately 6 onto a piece of material. The carbide faces are in perfect condition.

They have a mirror reflection as you can see George's reflection! Demonstrated by the 1 standard (not included) this precision tool is still very accurate as well. This protective plastic box has done a very good job of protecting this micrometer. It has suffered many scratches, dings, stains and scuffs from protecting this tool. It still snaps shut, even though one of the latches has broken off.

Please don't let this detract from what is a very nice micrometer. Otherwise, this case has no cracks, and holds this micrometer securely.

It will continue to protect it for years to come. Also included is a wrench for making minor adjustments. This is a very nice, barely used tool that is ready to go to work and would be a great addition to your precision toolbox. Please look at all the photographs as they can describe the condition on this micrometer much better than I can.
