The Mitutoyo 422 series LCD blade micrometer has blade anvil and spindle for measurement of groove diameter of shafts and keyways. It also has a ratchet-stop mechanism, an LCD digital readout that displays in metric units with resolution to 0.001mm for outside diameter (OD) measurement, and Statistical Process Control (SPC) data output to transmit results to a computer or external device. The micrometers electronic microprocessor can hold measurements at any position, convert to absolute value, set a temporary zero position, and return to a true zero reading.
The steel frame has a black, heat-insulated finish, and the thimble and sleeve have a glare-free, satin chrome rust- and glare-resistant finish. The micrometers knurled friction thimble and ratchet-stop mechanism provide uniform pressure during adjustment. A spindle lock helps ensure quick spindle locking.
